We are known for leading and administering restorative justice programs like the Court-Referred Community Service program, youth service learning, and our own such as parent workshops, community engagement, personal goal setting and emotional wellness programs called, Building Bridges. The core of our work is not programs alone, but to decrease recidivism and create of an umbrella of care designed to build empathy and resilience through community service and partnerships. Youth and teens, especially those at risk of justice involvement, engaged in reentry programs or substance use disorder - need preventative and empowerment services that teach empathy and resilience. Through our Why Not Incubator program, students learn about themselves, their purpose and the community around them in a 6-week course with mental health professionals directing the social-emotional wellness groups. Students choose at least two core areas of focus: Basic Needs, educational access, mental health and wellness, job preparation/interview skills, goal setting, and personal empowerment. After completing at least 12.5 hours in 6 weeks (with guidance and debriefs each week), students graduate with a certificate to supplement their college applications, resumes or community support letters and a path towards sustainable success.
Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth. The workshops below are research-based and taught by experts and specialists in the educational, wellness and mental therapy field.
This session focuses on creating pathways for at-risk youth and teaching them how to find their purpose to decrease recidivism, reentry into the juvenile system and negative choices. Participants learn how to make choices that will lead them into positive spaces. This is especially helpful for youth who are showing ongoing signs of depression, trauma, anxiety, distress, or defiance.
This session focuses on strategies and tips for completing applications, interview skills and how to complete a resume that makes you shine. We also discuss soft skills, hard skills and how to maintain your job and get promoted.
This workshop focuses on youth overcoming trauma, anxiety and self-doubt. Participants learn coping skills and strategies for personal wellness and mindfulness.
Participants learn how to engage their community, work with leaders and create win-win situations. These kind of healthy partnerships can lead to creative pathways help with job placement, volunteerism and community service.
Participants learn strategies for public speaking, communicating and self-confidence. They are provided ongoing support on how to find their voice and elevate their voice in an effective manner. Participants also learn how to agree and disagree in a way that is helpful and respectful.
This session focuses on the importance of healthy relationships. Participants often have trouble because of the negative company they keep. They are provided tips on how to create new relationships and maintain them. Participants learn how to foster positive relationships and delete negative ones, as well as understand the consequences of their choices.

This workshop focuses on empowering women from all walks of life, from leaders to women who have been in shelters. We focus on five components: women's sense of self-worth; their right to have and to determine choices; their right to have access to opportunities and resources; their right to have power to control their own lives, both within and outside the home; and their ability to influence.
This program focuses on reentry, recidivism and continual treatment for ongoing success. This session is taught by Real Models who were once caught up in a cycle of negative activities and have broken out it. They share their stories for other youth who are having difficulty with establishing their own identity and power.
This session is a very interactive one where participants go beyond a their dreams and visions and enter the realm of possibilities. Each participant is engaged in making a personalized POSSIBILITY BOARD that connects to their purpose, passion and pursuits. It is very powerful and positive.
This session focuses on exploring art in a variety of ways. Youth are encouraged to share their feelings with a paintbrush and let it flow. This kind of art is healing and therapeutic. It is also helpful for personal growth, lowers anxiety and increases creativity. We also engage in writing about the art to increase literacy, language and speaking skills.
This session teaches participants that SMART goal strategy for mapping out their goals. They learn the process of capturing ideas and putting them into action.
This session focuses on a holistic approach to gaining emotional intelligence and control over your thoughts and actions. Participants learn about neuroscience research and how to deal with anger.
This session focuses on building empathy. We felt this was a session that stands alone. We deal with six areas of empathy and engage in role play to ensure understanding and engagement.
This session focuses on giving oneself a new start. Oftentimes youth have trouble doing this. If they have made negative choices, they are labeled by society for life. We help participants to erase the negativity, learn from the past and move on to a new beginning.
This session focuses on building leaders. Participants learn tips and strategies from other leaders who have been able to turn their lives around. They are also provided with a roadmap to understanding their own leadership and what it takes to be an effective leader.
